Two fulltime (10 PA) Consultant General Paediatricians with acute paediatric skills are required for Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The applicant will be part of the rota for the new Children’s Assessment Unit providing weekday resident work 1-9 pm (1-2 regular shifts per week). The CAU is an acute paediatric service piloted over the last 2 winters that we are transforming into a separately staffed year round service run alongside the children’s ward at King’s Mill Hospital.
Additional special interests and skills of applicants will be considered alongside this and may include Named Doctor, undergraduate teaching, neurodisability, epilepsy, renal, neonatal, on-call rota and/or educational supervision roles as agreed.
Candidates for the post must be registered with the GMC at the time of appointment and be a Member of the RCPCH and be on the Specialist Register or within 6 months of receiving your CCT date at the time of the interview.
The salary will be based on National terms and conditions as per new consultant contract.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
