Sherwood Forest Hospitals are looking for expressions of interest for a motivated and committed individual to become the Head of Service for Cardiology Services.
The post holder will provide clinical leadership for the Cardiology Service and ensure effective management and support for clinical staff.
You will be responsible for effective clinical governance arrangements, and overall management and accountable for both performance and service development.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team of hard working and committed individuals, supporting the service to deliver a full range of investigations, including CT angiography, TOE and DSE, as well as invasive diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, coronary angioplasty including Rotablation, OCT and IVUS alongside a full pacing, ICD, CRT and complex device service.
The position of Head of Service will attract a time allocation of 1 x PA per week or, grading of Band 8b for non-Consultant post-holders.
