**Secondment/Fixed Term opportunity for a period of 9-12 months to cover Maternity Leave**

This post offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic individual to lead the Waiting List Team in their day to day activities and with the development and continuous improvement of services in this area.  

You will be responsible for ensuring the following:

  • maintenance of patient administration standards
  • good and accurate data quality
  • a good patient experience 

You will need to be enthusiastic and well motivated, and meet the following essential criteria:

  • current working knowledge of 18 wk RTT requirements
  • sound understanding of patient pathways and capacity and demand
  • understanding and ability to support theatre efficiency and productivity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good team player with commitment to high quality customer service
  • Good organisational skills and involvement in modernising/changing services
  • experience of out patient and inpatient booking systems, including Medway and Bluespier 
  • Ability to prioritise and work to agreed timescales
  • Knowledge of HR Processes and supervisory experience are desired but not essential as training can be provided
